When 25% tungsten is added to W-Mo alloy, the melting point of the alloy increases by about 200℃. Therefore, this series of alloys is of great significance. It is well known that the W-Mo system is a continuous solid solution; adding no more than 10% tungsten to molybdenum has little effect on the behavior of the metal during ingot smelting and hot deformation. In alloys containing 20% or more tungsten, the resistance to forging plastic deformation increases.
