1. Information of Molybdenum Electrode For Production of Household Glass Furnace:
Household glass is the common glass products in our daily life, including window glass, glass tableware, glass vases and other daily common glass products are called daily-use glass. The process of glass melting is realized in a glass furnace, which includes a series of physical, chemical and physicochemical phenomena and reactions. The production process is roughly as follows: ingredients - mixing - feeding into the glass furnace - silicate formation (600~900°C) - glass (1200~1250°C) - clarification (1400~1500°C) - homogenization (glass liquid At high temperature for a long time, its chemical composition tends to be uniform) - cooling. On the premise of not damaging the quality of the glass, the clarified and homogenized molten glass needs to be lowered to the temperature range where the processing technology requires viscosity, generally lowered to 200~300°C, and then processed to obtain the desired product.
Molybdenum electrodes have good high temperature performance, corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity, so they are often used as electrode materials for melting glass and are widely used in glass furnaces. High-quality molybdenum electrodes have certain significance for the quality of glass and the safe use of furnaces. Molybdenum electrodes with high density and uniformity and low impurity content can be used to produce glass products with high transparency and good quality. In addition, too much impurity content in the molybdenum electrode will also lead to a faster service life of the electrode. Excessive iron and nickel impurity content in the electrode will cause the glass liquid to corrode the electrode prematurely, cause the electrode to break, and also reduce the service life of the furnace.

1). High temperature resistance, can withstand high temperature of 1700 ℃;
2). It will not be oxidized by air at 800°C;
3). Has a conductivity comparable to that of metal;
4). Sufficient mechanical strength at 1700°C;
5). Good wettability with glass;
6). It has good corrosion resistance and can withstand the erosion of glass liquid;
7). It has stable chemical and physical properties and does not pollute the glass.
