1. Description of TZM Molybdenum Alloy Rod:
Titanium zirconium molybdenum rod (TZM molybdenum alloy rod) is prepared by powder metallurgy. TZM alloy rod is a high-temperature alloy prepared by adding trace elements such as Ti, Zr and C to molybdenum as the matrix. 4. Classification of TZM Molybdenum Alloy Rod :
TZM molybdenum alloy rod can be divided into the following types according to the degree of processing:
Sintered TZM alloy rod: The sintered TZM rod is a rod without subsequent processing, and the surface is gray-black without metallic luster.
Forged TZM alloy rod: After forging, the TZM rod will have a layer of oxide on the surface, and the surface will show a black metal-free color.
Polished TZM alloy rod: The TZM rod can be polished one or more times according to the surface state and quality requirements, and the surface of the polished TZM rod is silver-gray metallic luster.
Polishing TZM alloy rods: Polishing TZM rods refers to polishing the rods to reduce the surface roughness of the alloy rods, thereby obtaining bright and flat TZM rods.
Alkali-washed TZM alloy rods: Alkali-washed TZM rods are obtained through the alkali-washing process. The surface of the alkali-washed TZM rods has a gray metallic luster and is relatively smooth.
5. Use applictaion of TZM Molybdenum Alloy Rod :
TZM molybdenum alloy rods have good high temperature properties and mechanical properties, so they are widely used in various high temperature fields. It is often used in the manufacture of electric vacuum devices and electric light source parts, and is suitable for the preparation of ion implantation parts. As a high-temperature heating element and high-temperature structural parts, it is often used as an electrode in the glass and refractory fiber industry as an electrode of a furnace. It works in a 1300 ℃ glass melt, not only has good performance, but also has a long service life. It is also widely used as an electrode in the rare earth industry. In addition, TZM rods can also be used in hot runner systems for the preparation of various types of hot nozzles and hot runners.
